135
So i finally did it. I got back down to my pre-pregnancy weight. I am not saying that it is my ideal weight, but I am still proud of my accomplishment. I don't have a scale at my house, and I was at my Mom's today and she has a couple, it felt really good to get on the scale and see the number 135. I am sure you think I am crazy about posting my weight, but I feel like it isn't the number but how you feel about yourself that matters.6.06.2008
don't let your spouse drink and sleep
So the other night I woke up grabbed my water bottle and took a sip. It was a restless night of tossing and turning and not being able to fall asleep. I always have 2 water bottles next to my bed, because I get so thirsty at night. Well this night after I took my sip I layed there with my bottle upright on my stomach just being annoyed that I was awake, and thinking about who knows what, when all of a sudden I had cold water all over me. I had somehow fallen asleep while holding my open water bottle and it slipped out of my hand and got all over me. I was shocked and wet, and I was trying to make a bunch of noise so Russ would wake up and feel bad for me. Alas, Russ is a very heavy sleeper, so I didn't get the sympathy I didn't deserve. I wiped up what I could, moved the blankets so the wet part wasn't on me, and tried to go back to sleep. Moral of the story, don't lay in bed in the middle of the night with an open water bottle.

Random
So I am a dork and just read "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone" . . . yeah I know I am a major HP nerd. I just wanted something easy and fun, and that was it. Anyway it got me to thinking about how I wish I had a crazy awesome imagination to be able to write stories and just come up with something totally fun and different. I am so impressed with JK Rowling's creativity and talent for writing. I don't know how she can make me feel like Harry is my friend, and I just want to escape to their world. Well I won't bore you with my nerdery (hey at least I can make up words, that's a start on my creativity) but I was just thinking about it, and wondered if you had any ways you express your creativity and or imagination.P.S. Thank you all for your nice comments on my baby's photos.

Only a few days later . . .
Halle started crawling a couple days after that last video. She has had an extremely eventful last 2 weeks. She got her first tooth, her first sickness, and she started crawling! It is so crazy how fast they grow up! She will be 8 months on the 25th!
PS: Sorry the quality isn't that great.

. . . see how they run!
Today I ran a 5K with my fun neighbor Tasha. It was at Thanksgiving point and it was in support of the blind. I did pretty well considering I am sick. I got a little cough yesterday, and now I am snuggled in bed freezing with the chills. So I am pretty proud of myself. It was fun, even though it was cold. Thanks Tasha, we need to do more!

Birthday wishes and Easter egg dreams . . .
Happy Birthday Pappa Wayne. Russ's dad also has his birthday in March, the 19th. We had everyone over for pizza and cake. I made a cake, but I think I burned it. Russ's dad was so nice and said that was how he liked it. Oh, I am so lucky to have such wonderful parents in law! It was so fun to have everyone over.
On Thursday we went to my mom's house to decorate eggs. Halle is still too young to get into it, but I think I was into it enough for both of us! Lani and Lisa were there too with Lisa's adorable kids. I love spending time with family! And, I love this time of year, when the weather changes and you can go outside without a coat on.

Happy Belated Birthday DAD!!!
My Dad's Birthday was on the 13th, and I just wanted to let him know how much I love him and how much I appreciate everything he has done, does and I know will continue to do for me. He really is one of my best friends, and is one of the best people to go to when you have a problem you need help with. He never judges, and he has this amazing way of making you figure out what it is you should do. I love you pops! Not to mention all of the incredibly fun things I get to do with him . . . boating, 4-wheeling, jet skiing, snowmobiling . . .

Scootin'
Halle can't crawl, yet, but she is figuring out how to move around. I placed her on the blanket while I was being Suzy-Homemaker making cookies. I watched her scoot head first under our second hand coffee table. It was pretty cute, oh and I know she is wearing the same pajama's she was wearing in the last pictures, but those are the best PJ's, they fit her long body and are nice and warm. I am still ragin' hormones so I am always hot, I just figure I should leave her in her warm PJ's so I don't have to turn the heat up too much. And I am just lazy. As long as they are clean right?

And this,
This is my latest project.

Rollin'
This morning Halle and I were playing with some toys on a blanket. I left to use the bathroom, and came back, not a minute later and she was gone! Well she wasn't where I had left her, she had rolled like eight feet. She has never done that before, she has only rolled over from front to back and back to front. I took some pictures, while I was taking one she rolled again! Oh man I gotta get my house baby proofed!
So that is Halle rolling out of the picture, she started out next to that red thing and then a minute later this is where she was. Crazy girl!
She is so proud of herself!
