Baby Page # 2 is . . .

We went to get our ultrasound done this morning and couldn't wait to find out what we were having. The little thing was laying on it's tummy in a really inconvenient way for the technician to see what it was. But she finaly got a good shot and, it's a BOY!

It is funny how the whole time I have thought it was a boy so I wasn't surprised, but it was good to have confirmation. Russ was really excited he was just saying yesterday that he thought it was a girl, but I think he secretly hoped I was right :) The nurse/technician's words exactly "he's being stubborn," He's definitely our boy!

Here are some shots from the ultrasound. I tried to explain what everything is, but I understand if you can't see it.

This is a picture of his face. If you tilt your head to the right he is looking right at you! That big black circle is his eye.

It's a boy! This is a shot of his unit. The bum is on the right and his little guy is in between the legs.

The second time around . . .

So I am pregnant, for the second time, and have felt pretty good. I felt sick for the first trimester but now I am just tired and feeling fat.

I knew I would be showing earlier this time around but hello, I feel like I have a huge baby bump poking out at me. I thought I was having twins because I was showing so much earlier this time. But there is only one baby in there, confirmed by the initial ultrasound at 10 weeeks.

I get to find out what we are having on the 18. My intuition says it's a boy, but I really have no idea. It's a 50/50 shot, but I will be truly happy with a boy or a girl.

Here are some pictures I took of my Halle girl at the park when I went with my friends from high school for a play date.

24th of July Weekend

We had such a fun weekend. Russ took Thursday off, so he, Lisa, her son Kai, my Dad and I all went boating up at Jordanelle. It was fun but since I am pregnant I didn't get to go skiing, and I could only go tubing for a little bit, because even when my dad was trying to be gentle it was pretty bumpy. Then we went up and stayed at the cabin.

Russ working his mad slalom skills! I am seriously so proud of him, he rocks for only having gone skiing about 7 times in his life!

Me and Kai rocking it in the tube!

Friday evening we went down to American Fork for my niece's birthday party / Page family 24th of July party. Halle had so much fun. She got to play in the water with the kids, eat cake and ice-cream, and help hit the pinata.
I love Halle's face in this picture. It pretty much sums up her mood for the day! YIPEEE!!!

On Saturday we just hung out at the cabin and then went to the demolition derby (sorry no pictures) in Kamas that evening. It was a lot of fun and just a great weekend with my husband, beautiful baby girl Hals, and our families.

Oquirrh Mountain Temple Open House

Last Friday we went to see the new temple. Halle was such a good girl. Her favorite part was seeing the oxen under the baptismal font, she was so sad when we had to leave that room, she was saying "bye, bye cows." Her second favorite was the cookies at the end. It was fun to be together as a family in the temple.

Halle's Post

I am actually due January 3, 2010 the same day my good friend Laura is, pretty crazy! I find out what it is on August 18th, so I will keep you posted.

HP Nerdfest!

Yes I am a Harry Potter nerd, yes I went to the midnight showing, and yes I was dressed up as Dolores Umbridge. Oh man, it is so great to be out with the crazy fans late at night. Lindsey, Megan and I had a blast. We got there a little early and were really worried we were going to be the only ones dressed up, but the freaks, (like us) all started to show up and we took lots of pics and had tons of fun.
The movie was really good, a little different from the book and missing some things that would have been really cool, but oh well, I guess they can't fit everything in. Anyway enjoy my nerdery!
Sitting in our seats, getting excited for the movie to start!

That guy next to me was Hagrid, he was my favorite, mostly because he wasn't trying that hard, but he looked exactly like him!
Waiting outside the theater. Megan was Ginny, Lindsey was Rita Skeeter, and me Dolores Umbridge.
This lady had an actual owl, so we took our pic with it! I love how she is hiding behind me. :)

happy 4th

Fourth of July was wonderful. Russ had Friday off, so He, Halle and I went to breakfast at Ruth's Diner up Emigration Canyon. We were able to sit outside, the atmosphere was divine and the food was delicious. After that we went to the Outlets in Park City and did a little shopping. It is always easier for me to buy clothes for Halle than it is for myself. We had fun even if i didn't get much.

On Saturday we went swimming with Russ's sister Jen's family at the Lehi rec center. Halle loved it! I had to hold on to her the whole time in the pool because she wanted to just swim & go do her own thing. After that we went back to Jen's house and had a BBQ and lit some little fireworks. Halle had so much fun with her cousins! My favorite part was the home-made strawberry ice-cream Russ's mom made, i am drooling just thinking about it! Anyway it was a good holiday!
Phoenix, Aspen, Papa Wayne, Halle, Morgan & Landry

Halle and her Mimi

I made Russ get that hat when we were shopping at the outlets, I think he looks really cute in it!
Russ was sweeping up the fireworks and with that hat on he reminded me of the chimney sweeps on Mary Poppins, so i made him dance for me! Oh how i love my husband!

God Bless America!

Chitty Chitty Bang Bang!

This weekend my sister Lindsey and I got my Dad's tickets to go see Chitty Chitty Bang Bang! It was awesome, funny, cute all those good things. I don't know if any of you have seen Ace Venture II, anyway, there is a scene in there where Jim Carey sings the Chitty Chitty Bang Bang song, Lindsey and I were laughing so hard during the play whenever they sang it, which was a lot. Here is a clip of ace ventura, mostly for my sis!

And if you have never seen, chitty chitty bang bang, the movie, here is a clip of that as well.

Pool Time

On Wednesday I had this great idea to take Halle to the pool. So, I got in my suit, borrowed a suit for Halle from a neighbor, got sun screened up, grabbed some towels treats and juice and was out the door. We walked the long walkway to the Tennis Club entrance, got inside and the guy gave us a funny look. I asked "is the pool open?"
He said, "no, well it is just for swim team."
me: "when does swim team use it?"
him: " 4:30"
me: "oh, i guess i should have called first"

Ok is it just me or is it freaking hot outside and anyone in their rite mind who has a pool, has it open? What the H tennis club, open your pool to the members who are paying out the butt every month when it is summer. Ok, maybe i am just mad because I was an idiot and assumed the Tennis Club was open.

Halle kept saying "swimming!" because i told her we were going swimming. I felt so bad so I went to ShopKo, bought a $6.99 blow up pool for the back yard, and set it up. Best 7 buck purchase of my life. Halle can't get enough of her pool, and the water. Who needs the Tennis Club when you can have your own pool in your back yard!

I love her face in this one, sorry it is so off center, but this girl doesn't hold still.

Lisa's kids came over friday and they had a blast with the slip and slide and the pool. Halle wasn't affraid of getting wet that is for sure. She would run down the slip and slide, fall and just giggle about getting water in her face. I was so proud of her. Hose water is freezing!

After a long day in the sun this is what four kids look like.

Halle and Laina have a love hate relationship. As you can see in Laina's face while they hug.

Memorial Day Weekend

We went up to my parents cabin this weekend. I love going up there, it is so peaceful and beautiful and the air is just so refreshing. It was a little rainy, but that made everything really green and gorgeous. Halle loved being at the cabin, except for when she had to go to bed.

Reading books in the car.

Riding four wheelers, Halle kept saying, "weeeee"
These pictures are at the pond feeding the fish.
Halle was so cute throwing the fish food in, most of the ones she threw only landed on the road below her feet. She is such a cutie!

Swingin', Tulips, & Making a Cake

We have been loving this warm weather and have spent as much time as we can outside. Halle's favorite is swinging! She can't get enough!
She loves to spin around on the swing like this. Russ likes to make her get off after and watch her try to walk. She is such a cutie pie!

This is Halle skipping. She says, "Skip & skip & skip . . ."
My mom always has an incredible garden of tulips in the spring, so I took Halle out for a photo opp.

Halle was so excited to help her Daddy make a cake on Sunday.

Look how cute that little stinker is in her little apron!
