There is such a double standard. It's horrible. My husband does point out that it goes both ways though where men are judged on money, and while I agree to a point, I still think it's worse for women. I agree with her about Britney Spears and Kate Winslet.

I was watching this show called Man vs Food. Where tihs guy goes around taking on eating challenges at different restaurants. As he is eating a burger that seriously weighed 7 pounds people were cheering him on, nice looking women were coming up to him and kissing him on the cheek, keep in mind this man is not attractive and not in shape either. You know you would never see an unattractive, overweight woman, pounding a hamburger and getting congratulated for it. THE INJUSTICE!
good post...it makes you think about what really is important. no matter what you look like, if you're happy and can look past what women are "supposedly supposed" to look like, then who cares:)

wow... seriously. I think kate winslet is gorgeous. Our view of beauty is so distorted. It's disgusting.
