Results are in . . .

I got the call yesterday with the results. All of the margins were clean and the nodes came back benign, which means I am cancer free! YAY!

I need to thank all of you for your thoughts, prayers and love! I know I was blessed with peace and comfort through all of this which I know was because of all of you. THANK YOU!

I also need to thank my Mom and Dad who have been so supportive and amazing through everything. My Mom litteraly took over as mother for Miller during my surgeries and while I have been recovering. She had to take him to the doctor and would wake up in the night with him. She is so amazing and i love her so much and could never thank her enough!

I also need to tell my husband how much i love him and appreciate him. He has had to carry the weight of the realty of what could be through all of this. I love you Russ and thank you!

Lacey-- sorry to be a blog stalk but I just heard about this and was anxious to hear the results-- and wow-- such good news. I can only imagine the sense of relief you must feel! Thank you for posting all this on your blog-- I know you've inspired at least me to get some moles checked out. Take care- you are awesome.

Lacey, holy cow. It's been a little while since I looked at your blog, so I was beyond shocked to check it tonight and see this post. I am so, so, glad that you caught it before it got any worse. I am always scared of skin cancer because it runs in my family. I have had an atypical mole removed before, but thankfully it was just "precancerous." I am curious to know what your moles looked like, that they caught your attention. Anyway, I'm so glad to hear that you are okay. What a scary thing, but you sure handled it like a champ.
